भावार्थ

"निढळावरी कर ठेवुनी वाट मी पाहे" — कपाळावर हात ठेवून वाट पाहणे. उन्हात दूरवर पाहताना जो हात कपाळावर जातो, तोच. विठ्ठलाला "माऊली" म्हणणे ही वारकरी परंपरेची खूण.

आलिया गेलिया हातीं धाडी निरोप ।पंढरपुरीं आहे माझा मायबाप ॥१॥

aaliya geliya hatin dhadi nirop |pandharapurin aahe majha mayabap ||1||

भावार्थ

येणाऱ्या-जाणाऱ्याच्या हाती निरोप पाठवतो — पंढरपुरात माझा मायबाप आहे. भक्ती येथे पत्रव्यवहारासारखी साधी आणि रोजची झाली आहे.

पिवळा पीतांबर कैसा गगनीं झळकला ।गरुडावर बैसुनी माझा कैवारी आला ॥२॥

विठोबाचें राज्य आम्हां नित्य दिपवाळी ।विष्णुदास नामा जीवें भावें ओवाळी ॥३॥

vithobachen rajy aamhan nity dipavali |vishnudas nama jiven bhaven ovali ||3||

भावार्थ

विठोबाच्या राज्यात आम्हांला रोजच दिवाळी. विष्णुदास नामा — नामदेवांची नाममुद्रा — जीवभावाने ओवाळतो.
